CIHT Scotland - Delivering Resilience Through Asset Management

Presenter: Jim Barton, UK First Delegate to World Road Association

This event will follow the annual World Road Association UK Congress and will be held at the same venue. This year's Congress has the title 'Resilient Assets for a Resilient World' and will include presentations from a number of senior government officials, industry leaders and international experts around the theme of how Asset Management Planning should be focussed on delivering resilience. It is timed to coincide with a meeting of the WRA Technical Committee on Asset Management in Glasgow.

Jim Barton, former Director of Trunk Road and Bus Operations at Transport Scotland and UK First Delegate to WRA, will present a synopsis of issues discussed at the Congress as well as current developments in Asset Management in the UK and Scotland in particular.

This event is free and refreshments will be available from 5.30pm. Non-members of CIHT are very welcome to attend.
