CIHT SoRSA Road Safety Workshop

SoRSA Road Safety Audit Workshop - Supported by BEAR Scotland

We are pleased to be jointly promoting this one day workshop with the Society of Road Safety Auditors.  This one day road safety audit workshop is aimed at designers, project sponsors and clients of highways and traffic schemes.

Road Safety Audits are an important part of the design process of new highway and traffic schemes. However its relevance in regard to improving safety and the consequences of following or not following the process is frequently misunderstood.

This one day workshop is aimed at designers, project sponsors and clients to provide them with a better understanding of what a Road Safety Audit is and how it is undertaken. It will explore how problems are identified, how to respond to recommendations made, and will look at the role of the designer, project sponsor and client in the event of legal proceedings. The workshop will be based on a real life case study.

The attendees will qualify for a full day of CPD accredited by the CIHT.

Who Should Attend? Highway and Traffic Engineers and Professionals, Transport Planners and those responsible for prioritising and developing road schemes.

Cost is £60 per delegate.
