Cycling for all through good planning
Thursday 7th December 2017, Armada House Bristol, BS1 4BQ
09:30 - 16:30
Festive Seminar Provisional Programme
Earlier in the year the Government announced that they want to see cycling levels doubled and will be targeting funding at innovative ways to encourage people onto a bike or walking for shorter journeys. A new, strategic approach to identifying cycling and walking improvements at the local level is being recommended through Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs).
This conference brings together regional and national experts to share their views on a variety of cycle-themed topics including the LCWIP process; the evaluation and forecasting of cycling levels, as well as best practice examples, including inclusive design of cycle infrastructure.
