The Annual General Meeting will be followed by a presentation by Malcolm Parsons – Senior Programme Development Manager, Western Route – Network Rail, entitled:

Improving Rail Links to Heathrow

The Western Rail Access to Heathrow (WRAtH) which will provide a direct connection between Reading, Slough and Heathrow Airport is set to slash journey times across Thames Valley, Berkshire and further afield, generating substantial economic benefits across the region.

All Branch members are encouraged to attend the AGM and to bring along guests for the presentation afterwards.
 
This will be the last Thames & Chilterns AGM as the branch together with the existing South East and Southern Branches are being combined to form the new South East Region which following a Regional Annual General Meeting (venue & date TBA) is currently due to come into effect before 31st May 2015.
