The Presentation focuses on the future of surface water management, where climate change, urbanisation, population growth and water scarcity are seen as the key drivers for change.
Topics include: The drivers for change, Ideal solution attributes, Desirable solution features, Runoff Quantity management, Runoff Quality Management aand Value Engineering Demonstration.
We will focus on three ideal solution attributes - those of: economic construction, the concept of 'resilience' in design and sustainability.
We consider managing runoff, using both soft and hard solutions to deliver an optomised scheme, taking advantage of site topography and features of the local environment.
