Join CIHT Yorkshire & the Humber for a webinar on inclusive leadership on 22 January 2027, 10.30-11.15am.
The future success of the transportation profession depends on attracting, developing and retaining talent from the widest possible range of backgrounds. Inclusive leadership is therefore not simply an EDI issue, but a leadership imperative.
This webinar will explore the critical role leaders play in shaping workplace culture, building trust, fostering psychological safety and creating a genuine sense of belonging. The session will examine how inclusive leadership can improve collaboration, innovation, talent attraction and retention, while helping organisations address some of the challenges facing our profession today.
This webinar is aimed at current and aspiring leaders across the highways, transportation and infrastructure sectors, as well as HR, EDI and people professionals interested in creating more inclusive workplace cultures. The session will be relevant to anyone responsible for leading teams, developing talent, influencing organisational culture or supporting positive change, as well as those looking to develop the skills and behaviours needed to become inclusive leaders in the future.

Laura Bache, Co-Founder, BehaviourLab
Laura is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and former Global Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at Jaguar Land Rover, with a career spanning consulting and senior HR leadership up to Chief People Officer. Her work sits at the intersection of psychology, leadership and inclusion; building organisations where difference drives performance, not just policy.
Leading EDI at global scale for Jaguar Land Rover taught Laura how inclusive leadership gets built in practice: through the design of roles, teams, decisions and culture, not good intentions alone. She has since carried that thinking across infrastructure, telecoms, digital and healthcare, finding that the barriers to inclusive leadership, and what overcomes them, look strikingly similar wherever you look, transport included.
Laura is co-founder of BehaviourLAB, a consultancy applying psychology and whole-system design to help organisations lead change and build teams that perform. She has worked with organisations including Virgin Media, Heathrow Airport and Purplebricks, as both consultant and HR leader from the inside.
We are working to ensure that the event is as comfortable and inclusive as possible.
