WEBINAR: Do not miss this opportunity to be one of the first to discover the findings from the CLIMATES research. Plus hear directly from Glenn Lyons, CIHT President, CIHT CLIMATES Project Lead and Mott MacDonald Professor of Future Mobility at UWE Bristol, who will explain the next steps and take questions on the research.
This webinar is open to CIHT members and non-members. If you have not previously booked on to one of our events you'll be asked to complete a short website registration form before being forwarded to the event booking page.
The webinar will provide a deep dive into the main findings and recommendations from the CIHT CLIMATES, followed by a Q&A with the project leader and current CIHT President Professor Glenn Lyons
Over the last few months over 300 transportation professionals from across the globe took place in a series of face to face and online workshops that challenged them to answer the question:
In an uncertain world, what priority actions in highways and transportation should we double-down on in the next three years to meet the unfolding challenges of climate change as we look out to 2035 and beyond?
The workshops and surveys used foresight and scenario planning techniques to allow participants to explore different potential futures and what they might mean for the twin challenges of decarbonising the transport system and improving its resilience to the accelerating impacts of climate change.
