Overview

Wayfinding for West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (WECA) Future Transport Zone Travel Hubs. 

Antony Parry, Senior Wayfinding Designer, will present an overview of the WECA Travel Hubs project, focussing on the development of a new brand and wayfinding system. A highly collaborative project between multiple industry experts, this project has developed a blueprint for wayfinding and public information across an emerging sustainable travel concept. 

Travel hubs provide users with a wide range of sustainable and active travel options along with high quality facilities to provide flexibility in how people undertake journeys across the local area. The introduction of clear and legible wayfinding has been a key feature in ensuring the success of the travel hubs.

Antony Parry, Senior Wayfinding Designer, AtkinsRéalis  Antony is a designer and project manager with over 10 years of experience, specialising in the design and strategy of wayfinding systems across urban environments and active travel schemes. Antony’s diverse skillset including graphic design, wayfinding strategy and stakeholder and user engagement enables him to lead the full end-to-end design process and ensure that all outputs meet the needs of all users.
