Our speaker, Nicola Parker (Senior Programme Manager Cycling and Walking at Cumbria County Council), will give an overview of Cumbria County Council’s Cycling and Walking Programme.

This webinar is open to CIHT Members and non-members and will be of particular interest to anybody that works within the Construction and Built Environment sector with a particular focus on colleagues within the Transportation and Highways Sectors as well as, Local Authorities, Joint Partnerships, Non-Governmental Organisations and Private Sector Consultancies.
Nicola Parker Senior Programme Manager Cycling and Walking at Cumbria County Council
Nicola Parker has worked at Cumbria County Council for over 10 years and prior to this in Consultancy. Nicola is a Transport Planner and Project Manager with a background in Infrastructure Planning, sustainable transport, scheme development and Business Case preparation to seek funding for investment in Infrastructure.
In October last year Nicola took on a new role at the County Council as Senior Programme Manager for the County Council’s Cycling and Walking Programme. The new role was put in place to recognise the importance that Government and that the County Council are placing on Active Travel. In this role Nicola takes a Senior Lead on Cycling and Walking in Cumbria working with partners and stakeholder to maximise investment in infrastructure and to get more residents and visitors to Cumbria Cycling and Walking.
Nicola has established a Programme of activity for Cycling and Walking in Cumbria and will provide you with an overview of this at the webinar.
