How the tools he has developed for City Science give a strategic understanding of the road network. Showing details on the performance of individual links and how they impacts the rest of the network.

On his construction of a Road and Rail model of Greater Exeter from the ITN network and National Rail Timetable, as part of the NIC’s Roads for the Futures project. City Science looked at using CAVs as a supplement to the existing rail network, and how optimisation undertaken by Exeter’s Environmental Futures & Big Data Impact Lab can shortlist the routes/hubs with the biggest impact.
