The presentation will look at the wider transport strategy for Norwich, the plan for the next 10+ years and the delivery of the major element of the plan, the Northern Distributor Road (NDR). The NDR is now in construction, a new dual carriageway from the A47 at Postwick junction (already completed) around the east and north of Norwich, connecting to the A1067 Fakenham Road.

The NDR is nearly half way through its construction having completed its statutory processes and funding approvals during 2014 and 2015, and is due to be opened at the end of 2017. The presentation will cover some of the more challenging elements of the NDR project, including an overview of the Development Consent Order process.
