In March 2017 we held an evening meeting talking about the East Midlands Gateway project. We are delighted to bring an update to this project, specifically regarding the bridge launch over the M1.

The East Midlands Gateway project is a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange to serve the East Midlands. It is located adjacent to Junction 24 of the M1. Construction started in January 2017 and it will take around 3 years to complete the main infrastructure which includes access from the A453, earthworks, environmental mitigation, the rail connection, major improvements to Junctions 24 and 24A of the M1 and a southern bypass for Kegworth.

This is a free to attend event open to members and nonmembers
