Overview

Trams to Newhaven opened in June 2023, connecting Leith and Newhaven to York Place with 8 new stops. 

This event will involve a 30-minute presentation on the recently opened Edinburgh Trams extension which will include the development and construction of the scheme and the challenges faced. Also, a look at the future of Edinburgh Trams. 

The presentation will be followed by a ride on the tram to Newhaven and then returning to the city centre. This will give the attendees to see the new route and have an opportunity for Q+A.
