Andy Flowerday is Executive Director at Barhale. He has overall responsibility for work winning and strategic development, in addition to Health and Wellbeing, Safety, Environment, Quality and Engineering. Alongside his Barhale Board responsibility, Andy is a long-standing board member of Anglian Water’s progressive @one and IOS Alliances, which are founded upon collaborative working and plays a key role in liaising with external customers and stakeholders. Andy has been instrumental in the successful growth of the company over the past 36 years. He has devised and delivered strategic business plans, which have seen Barhale develop from a small specialist tunnelling contractor to a diverse, multi-disciplinary civil engineering contractor with nationwide coverage, proudly supporting key major infrastructure projects for Thames Tideway Tunnel, Crossrail and Olympic Delivery Authority.
