CIHT Scotland are pleased to host a rare opportunity for Members to see the world famous Forth Bridge up close!
A two hour tour will include a lift up to a platform on the top of the north tower (361 feet high) where the iconic bridge can be observed as well as outstanding panoramic views of the Forth, Fife and the Lothians. Members will also visit a listed bothy, build in the 1930s, travelling along a walkway below the track. Members will have the chance to ask any questions they have regarding the bridge.
The tour will be at height and is likely to be unsuitable for those with mobility impaired access (due to stepped access to the lift).
A safety briefing will proceed the tour and high viz and hard hat will be provided. Appropriate footwear must be work (ie sturdy). Please consider that you will be exposed to the weather so dress appropriately. The tour is not suitable for anyone under the age of 16.
