Brought to you by CIHT Yorkshire & the Humber's emerging professionals' group, this complimentary event is for people on route to, about to embark on, or who just want to know more about gaining the Chartered Transpost Planning Professional qualification through CIHT.
During this session you will hear from various speakers including the Education Team at CIHT, reviewers and members who have recent experience of becoming qualified.
You will gain advice and knowledge about what is involved, how to apply, who is eligible and some tips and tricks!
We will also be running a session on engineering qualifications (EngTech, IEng and CEng) on Tuesday 29 July.

Greg Saunders, Education and Qualifications Officer, CIHT
Greg's background is in education, advising professionals and students on how they can achieve professional registration to progress their careers. CIHT offer access to the full range of engineering qualifications (EngTech, IEng and CEng) as well as the Chartered Transport Planning Professional (TPP) award. TPP is awarded jointly by CIHT and TPS and administered by CIHT. Greg will be able to advise you on the different levels of registration available, including your route to gaining the qualification, how to apply and the assessment process.
Leanne Farrow, Team Lead, Leeds City Council
Leanne Farrow is a Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP). After 17 years working in the private sector as a transport planning consultant with Mott MacDonald and JMP Consulting, she has recently joined Leeds City Council to lead the Influencing Travel Behaviour team, supporting the ambition and vision the city has for sustainable transport and road safety. Since obtaining CTPP in 2014, Leanne has been a passionate advocate for the qualification through mentoring, being a member of the CTPP Professional Standards Committee and more recently as an assessor for the Portfolio of Technical Knowledge (PTK) route.
CPD is defined as any activity that provides new knowledge or skills that help you to achieve your professional development goals or has otherwise helped you to develop as a highways and transportation professional
