Guest Speaker Graham Dalton Ch Exec Highways Agency
Graham Dalton was appointed as the Chief Executive of the Highways Agency and took up his post in June 2008. Prior to this appointment Graham was Director of Projects, National Networks, in the Department for Transport, responsible for the delivery of major rail investment projects including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, the West Coast Route modernisation and Thameslink.
He has a background in civil engineering, and during his career has worked for the consulting engineering group Mouchel working in the UK and abroad, including Qatar and Kuwait, for the engineering group Bovis Lend Lease Consulting, and for the Strategic Rail Authority as Director Projects. He joined the Department for Transport in 2005. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers..
He has just been appointed the first Transport Skills Champion
Last year’s dinner was such a success that this year we have been asked to repeat the venue and can certainly promise you a fine dinner and jolly good company
The bar at the Lansdowne will be open from 6.30 for those arriving early or directly from work. The formal reception will commence at 7.00 pm.
Note the bar will remain open throughout the evening. Last orders 11.30 pm
