Presentation One: Green Infrastructure. David Moores, Project Centre
David Moores is a chartered landscape architect, specialising in streetscape and urban design including design and project management, for both local government and private clients. In this presentation David will discuss how urban greening and tree planting in particular, might be tailored to achieve air quality goals while fulfilling many of the other beneficial functions of urban green space.
Presentation Two: Improving Air Quality. David Pope, Project Centre
David Pope - a chartered landscape architect with 15 years' experience in public realm design - will provide an overview of the SuDS agenda. A key theme of the presentation will focus on retro-fitting SuDS to urban streets and public realm spaces. The presentation will draw on scheme examples to illustrate types of SuDS design.
