Join us to hear from Mark Kemp, Executive Director Environment and Transport at Hertfordshire County Council. He’ll be discussing in particular social value, what life might look like after COVID and Active Travel.
Mark Kemp is a member of the Association of Directors of Environment Economy Planning and Transport (ADEPT), Chair of the UK Network Management Board, a member of the UK Roads Liaison Group, Chair of the MSF3 Steering Group (MHA) and committee member of CIHT South East Region. Mark is a Chartered Engineer, FCIHT and MICE and has worked in the highways industry for over 30 years.
Mark Kemp is the Executive Director of Environment and Transport at Hertfordshire County Council having previously worked as a Service Director at Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the industry and is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transport. Mark is the first Vice President of ADEPT, is the Chair of the UK Network Management Board, a member of the UK Roads Liaison Group and a member of the Roads Expert Panel for the Office of Rail and Road. He was the inaugural Chair of the National Traffic Managers Forum, immediate past Chair of the Adept Transport and Connectivity Board and has given evidence to Transport Select Committee on highway congestion and maintenance issues.
