The planning for HS2 is currently underway with routes between London, Birmingham and on to the north of England. In this evening presentation John Castle, Senior Route Engineer at HS2, will give us an insight into the need for HS2; the route planning; the location and complexity of stations; construction works; forecast use of the system and how it will be connected to the broader railway and transport network.
