Join CIHT Scotland for a webinar as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Tay Road Bridge on 10 September, 12.30-13.30.
Join CIHT Scotland as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Tay Road Bridge. Since opening in August 1966, the Tay Road Bridge (A92) has provided a vital link across the River Tay between Dundee and Fife, supporting travel, business and communities across the region. In this presentation, Stuart Baird of the Scottish Roads Archive will examine the bridge's history, from its early planning and construction to its enduring contribution to Scotland's transport network.
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session with attendees.

The presentation is particularly relevant to professionals working in highways, bridge engineering, transport planning, asset management and infrastructure delivery, as well as members of CIHT, local authorities, Transport Scotland, consultants and contractors.
