ICE Asset Management 2011
ICE Asset Management 2011 – Effective Operation of the UK’s Highways and Railways
1 December 2011 at One Great George Street, London
The UK’s infrastructure assets are worth billions of pounds. A whole industry exists around managing and maintaining them to ensure that they remain economic assets. Because of the huge number of companies and organisations who own these assets and the fact that they span a broad range of industries, sharing of data for maintenance and templates for management is difficult.
This one day conference will bring together 120 senior decision makers from the highways and rail industries to examine different approaches to infrastructure asset management.
Confirmed speakers so far include:
? Kiyoshi Kobayashi, Chair of the Committee of Infrastructure Planning and Management, Japan Society of Civil Engineers (keynote)
? Alan Couzens, Infrastructure UK Study Lead, HM Treasury
? Les Hawker, Asset Manager, Transport for London
? Derek Turner, Director Network Delivery and Development, Highways Agency
? Jerry England, Director Signal Power & Communications Asset Management, Network Rail
? Andrew Coombes, HS2
? Neil Firth, Head of Transport, Doncaster County Council
? Lisa Harris, Service Director – Regeneration, Knowsley County Council
