ICE-CIHT Combined Event - Integrating roadworks data into Sat Nav route guidance
Improving Network Management, Planning and Communications with cloud-based “big data” services: Warwickshire use roadworks.org services intensively to manage, plan and communicate streetworks and other events. Elgin will illustrate how these principles can be applied across strategic management of a Key Route Network, and, to deal with the impact of mega-projects such as HS2. Elgin have recently integrated real-time traffic disruption data into their services, enabling seamless, real time views of active streetworks and other incidents that are having an impact on the road network.
