The CIHT Asset Management Panel ran a seminar titled ‘Implementing Asset Management’ on Monday, 12th May.
The focus of the seminar was to examine how we implement successful Asset Management across the Highways Sector through learning from other infrastructure sectors.
The format of the day included a number of presentations and delegates also had the opportunity to debate the issues with experts in the field during a breakout session.
Delegates discussed the success factors from other sectors before hearing from key bodies in the highways sector how they are assisting in implementing Asset Management. The seminar produced the key factors that our sector needs to address and provided the basis for an action plan to implement successful Asset Management.
