At the national level, the inclusion of green infrastructure in government planning, climate change and health policy statements in recent years has raised its profile as an infrastructure of economic and social as well as environmental importance.
This seminar will introduce green streets policy context and principles for the Yorkshire and Humber region, outline key considerations and best practise for when incorporating trees into transport schemes and provide a guide to Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
