Join Mark Robson, Customer Success Manager for Autodesk and Hugo Blanco Alvarez, Civil Engineer for Osbourne as they talk through their experience of using technology to keep a busy stretch of motorway safe and operational throughout the five-year maintenance project while delivering rigorous, efficient quality and safety controls.
All stakeholders involved in or with an interest in roads and highways infrastructure construction – tier 1, 2 & 3 contractors including, but not limited to Project Managers, Site Managers, BIM Managers, Head of Innovation / Innovation Managers, Quality Managers, Program Managers, Health & Safety Managers.
Mark is a Customer Success Manager in the Autodesk Construction Solutions division, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, covering UK & Ireland. His key focus is to ensure customers gain the most from their investment in Autodesk solutions, maximising the adoption whilst supporting the customer in achieving their own strategic goals or initiatives.
With extensive experience of over 12 years working in the AEC software space, Mark joined Autodesk via the PlanGrid acquisition, working as Regional Sales Manager/Account Executive for EMEA, before moving across into a Customer Success Manager role in August 2019. Prior to joining PlanGrid he worked as a Business Development Manager at Viewpoint Construction Software (formerly 4Projects) from January 2010.
Mark has gained extensive knowledge of the challenges in the construction industry and sharing the benefits that technology and digitisation can bring to the industry.
Hugo is the Assistant Manager at Osborne Infrastructure working on the Gade Valley Viaduct project, managing temporary works and BIM management at site level. He is focused on improving productivity and quality control while reducing costs through innovation, collaboration, and technology adoption.
Hugo holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering (University of Oviedo - Spain) and an MSc in Construction Project Management (London South Bank University) and is currently studying an MBA with Quantic School of Business and Technology.
He has a keen interest in technology and the use of project data for decision making to increase efficiency.
