INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABLE FOOTPRINTING - SITE VISIT TO EUROVIA ROADSTONE'S BATCHING PLANT, DAGENHAM

Public Transport: Rail Dagenham Dock. Tube Barking
Note Dagenham Dock is closest and we can arrange a shuttle car to pick people up from the station and bring them back after the visit. Please ask if you require this service. There will be some onsite parking for those who choose to come by car.
 
Eurovia is the parent company of Ringway well known for highway construction and maintenance. They are developing new products and techniques to reduce the environmental impact of asphalt products. This visit will allow you to see to whole process from the delivery of raw materials by boat through grading mixing and production together with a presentaion on the tecnical details including specification, strength and testing of materials environmental impact and new products such as Low Carbon Asphalt.
