Beckie Faulkner Beckie Faulkner is an Associate Director at WSP in Intelligent Infrastructure (Operations and Safety), with eighteen years of experience in the transport sector. She joined WSP after a decade at National Highways, where she led significant change programmes and front-line operations in the Traffic Officer Service. Beckie is known for her strong interpersonal skills, dedication, and passion for safety. She provides technical consultancy in risk management, immersive exercising, and emergency preparedness within National Highways and Local Authorities. Beckie champions cultural change and is passionate about effective Equality, Diversity and Inclusion integration. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Women in ITS forum for ITS UK and as an EDI Ambassador for CIHT.

Diana Sanchez Diana is a Pavement Engineer within AtkinsRéalis Transportation Team. She has an extensive background in research in road pavement materials including low carbon technologies, and climate resilience. She has experience in pavement design working across a range of road infrastructure projects with local and national authorities across the UK. She is a Member of the CIHT and a Member of the PIARC Pavements Technical Committee. She also sits on the Standing Committees on Binders for Flexible Pavement and on Asphalt Materials Selection and Mix Design of the Transportation Research Board (TRB). As a result of her work, she has published a number of scientific publications in the pavement and highway engineering field. Recently, Diana received the Highly Commended recognition from the CIHT West Midlands Women’s Network Women’s Achievements Award. |

Grace Woosey Grace Woosey is a third year degree apprentice with the University of Warwick and working for AtkinsRealis. Grace is currently site based on Sizewell C within the site engineering team solving engineering queries. Grace is passionate about mentoring other women, especially those who are looking to attain a degree apprenticeship in engineering. |

Shirley Reynolds Shirley is a Regional Director at Waterman Aspen where she has lead responsibility for their business in the Warwickshire and Worcestershire part of the West Midlands. Waterman Aspen is a specialist secondment company and she also has a secondment at Warwickshire County Council where she works on a variety of projects. Shirley’s background as a traffic signal engineer developed from an academic career investigating the links between air pollution and traffic in the early 1990’s. She joined the CIHT in 2001 and became a Chartered Engineer in 2009 and a Fellow in 2020. For Waterman Aspen, Shirley played a pivotal role in establishing the Women’s Network and now leads the programme of webinars on various topics and has established an online craft club as a wellbeing initiative. Outside of work, Shirley has been volunteering with The Scouts for over 20 years and also finds time to enjoy her own craft interests. |
