Lincoln Development, Planning for Growth from Highway Infrastructure Projects

Plans for a £25 million transport hub in the centre of Lincoln including a new bus and train station, a 1,000 space car park and new pedestrian footbridges are the subject of this year’s joint ‘highways event in Lincolnshire.

The scheme is being led by the City of Lincoln Council in partnership with Lincolnshire   Co-op and Network Rail, working with East Midlands Trains and Lincolnshire County Council.

Kate Ellis, Assistant Director for Planning, Lincoln City Council will show how the feasibility for the project has developed into an exciting plan for Lincoln.  Followed by Alan Aistrup’s, Special Projects Officer for Lincolnshire County Council, presentation on project management aspects and the construction programme.
