Local Authority Asset Management (Joint event with IAM)

With continuing budget cuts and the establishment of the DfT incentive fund there is a growing focus on better highways asset management across the UK. Join us for an evening focussed on best practice in collaborative Asset Management, between the public and private sector in Staffordshire, Tyne & Wear and Hertfordshire. Key speakers at the event include:

Whole Life Cost Asset Management in Local Authority Highways - Paul Boss, Highway Asset Manager, Amey / Staffordshire CC
Paul joins us to discuss “Whole Life Cost Asset Management in Local Authority Highways”, focussing on the journey Amey and Staffordshire County Council have been on together, as part of the Staffordshire Strategic Partnership.

A Collaborative Asset Management Partnership - Chris Dyer, Head of Professional Services, Yotta
Following the introduction of the Incentive Fund by the DfT to reward councils who demonstrate they are delivering value for money in carrying out cost effective highways maintenance, Chris joins us to discuss Yotta’s ongoing support to the Tyne and Wear Highway Authorities on their journey from Band 1 to Band 3 Incentive Funding.

Building Bridges - a collaborative approach to Asset Management - Keith Harwood, Head of Profession - Bridges and Structures, Arup / Hertfordshire CC
