Join us for an in-depth exploration of the emerging Local Transport Plan (LTP5) and how it will support the ambitious targets set by Luton Council's ambitious plan to achieve Net Zero by 2040. Speakers will explain the complex task of managing transport demands and economic growth alongside committed expansion of London Luton Airport, the new 25,000-capacity stadium, and the delivery of 20,000 new homes over the next 20 years in a densely compact urban area.

This event is open to members of the Bedford Civil Engineering Society, CIHT, and guests interested in transport planning and strategy for Luton and the surrounding areas.

Deni Krevesic - Project Manager for the Local Transport Plan at Luton Borough Council Deni leads strategy development and strategic commissions at Luton Council. A Chartered Transport Planner and CIHT Fellow member, he has over 15 years of experience across the public and private sectors delivering more than 100 projects in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He currently chairs the CIHT East of England Committee and serves on the Future Transport Visions Group committee. |

Keith Dove - Strategic Policy Adviser at Luton Borough Council Keith Dove is a transport professional with over 45 years of experience in the public sector. After earning degrees from King's College London and Southampton University, he began his career in 1977 at Bedfordshire County Council, specialising in traffic engineering and data collection. He joined Luton Council in 2000 to manage the Luton Dunstable Busway, later leading their Transport Planning team and overseeing the Local Transport Plan (LTP). Since 2017, Keith has provided strategic policy advice across various council service areas. He is a member of both CILT(UK) and CIHT. |
