Construction has begun on one of Scotland’s largest infrastructure projects which will complete and upgrade the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and improve key sections of the M73 and M74.
As the busiest motorway in Scotland and one of the most heavily used in the UK, the main project challenge is to deliver an integrated motorway network which is fit for purpose in today’s modern Scotland and for generations to come.
The team will talk through the various challenges the project presents, the technical solutions and how the scheme will be executed, whilst keeping Scotland open for business.
Light refreshments available from 5.30pm.
Those attending may claim CPD – a certificate will be issued following the event.
This is a joint event between CIHT Central & Southern Scotland Branch and ICE Glasgow & West of Scotland Branch.
