It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. This symposium will explore the inventive ways that highway maintenance can be used to maximum benefit, both nationally and at a local level. The practicalities of potholes, surface treatments and recycling will also be addressed by specialists, showing that even a limited budget can be used to achieve very real benefits.
SPEAKERS
This symposium brings together key voices, both local and national, with responsibility for optimising usage of highway budgets, as well as technical experts, each of whom has enor-mous experience and knowledge of the latest innovations in highway repair, preservation and strengthening.
VENUE
The symposium will make use of the excellent facilities at the Newton building, on the Nottingham Trent University City site at the heart of Nottingham City site. The Victoria railway station, the Broadmarsh coach station and the Forest park & ride (NG7 6AQ) are only fifteen minute walk or a short tram journey away. COST
The delegate rate for attendance at the Annual Symposium is £45 for members, £55 for non-members, including VAT. This covers lunch, afternoon refreshments and printed summaries of the papers presented.
