GoToWebinar: This webinar, organised by CIHT Republic of Ireland, will look at net zero travel and transport, with the opportunity to hear about Meath County Council’s work in transport planning, active travel and the wider opportunity for net zero travel.
In this webinar, we will look at 'Net Zero Travel and Transport', where we will hear from two speakers, David Symons from WSP (UK Director of Sustainability) and Caroline Corrigan from Meath County Council (Climate Action & SDG Co-ordinator).
David will provide an overall context for net zero and transport including:
• Where does carbon come from in transport?
• What are others committing to for net zero travel?
• What are the implications for CIHT members?
We will then hear from Caroline on Meath County Council’s work in transport planning, active travel and the wider opportunity for net zero travel.
This will be followed by a Q&A session.
All professionals within transport and related disciplines or anyone with an interest in climate change.
