Colin Ridding is a Project Director at Mott MacDonald and has over 25 years’ experience in traffic engineering, particularly traffic control in local government and the private sector. Colin is currently responsible for managing the Traffic Engineering, Development Planning and Traffic Survey teams in the Birmingham office.
Recently Mott MacDonald played a key role in producing the Local Transport Note (LTN) 1/09 on Signal Controlled Roundabouts, which was released by the Department of Transport in 2009. This much needed, long awaited document provides comprehensive guidance to those engaged in the design of signalised roundabouts.
