North East & Cumbria - Recent Developments in Road Safety

Venue: County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL
Time: 0845-1645hrs

We are now approaching half-way through the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety, which called for all nations to sign up to achieving a 50% reduction in road fatalities by 2020. So what is the UK doing to actively work towards this target?

This one-day seminar, organised by the CIHT North East & Cumbria Region, will examine a number of recent developments that have the potential to make a significant contribution to achieving the success of this global initiative, from a UK perspective. It also provides both a national and regional perspective on relevant changes in policy and application.

Who should attend? Road safety professionals, network managers, transport planners, town planners, developers, road safety auditors.

Places are limited, so please book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Click on the event flyer for the full programme and booking information, or contact John Barrell at jbarrell@trl.co.uk.
