Behaviour Change for Net-Zero Mobility
The sector is coming together to tackle the challenges of net-zero and investing much in the way of time and resource to work on carbon-friendly solutions for new ways of working, materials, new modes of mobility and integrated transport for different environments and situations. Underlying whether all the changes will be successful, is whether people will adopt the new options and change their habits.
Transport users’ awareness and knowledge about the climate emergency has increased in recent years, more information is available and pressures to ‘do their bit’ for net-zero are creeping into their behaviours. People are making changes in the personal lives, but how can the sector encourage them to do more and change behaviours more quickly when it comes to transport and mobility?
Can organisations influence the individuals’ choices and habits outside of their working life? Have we got the right level of engagement with the right people, which will have an impact on the development of the new mobility options to ensure they are fit for purpose and user friendly, whilst supporting the net-zero targets?
This Partners event is open to employees of our Partnerships Network Organisations.
