Road Safety Audits, recognised as international best practice, seek to minimise accidents, death and injury on the road. This seminar will detail the process for commissioning an RSA in the UAE, from the information required to selecting an appropriate team of road safety experts for the type of scheme under evaluation.
The seminar will also focus upon how a Road Safety Audit in the UAE and how is executed at key stages, why a site visit is required and who should attend, along with how the findings of the Audit should be presented. Focus will be given on how to close out an Audit, from the Design Team Response to writing an Exception Report. Problems and conflicts often arise at this last stage, and the seminar will explain how to avoid issues within the DTR process and expedite successful RSA closure.
The seminar will provide a brief overview of SoRSA – CIHTs Society of Road Safety Auditors and the benefits for international members based in the UAE. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers so come prepared with queries, comments and questions.
