CIHT Middle East is excited to offer this hybrid seminar on Predictive Modelling with Tony Dichev - Lead Modelling Specialist with Transport for London.
Attendance at this seminar is free, but registration is mandatory.
This seminar will provide an in-depth overview of the SITS Predictive Solution, a software-based decision support system that forecasts the likely state of the road network up to 60 minutes ahead and recommends mitigation strategies to minimise incident impacts. The system dynamically generates multiple response options using network measures such as traffic signal plans and operational procedures, tailored to each incident and affected area. Strategies are modelled and evaluated in parallel against user-defined performance metrics, enabling operators to quickly identify the most effective response.
The session will also explore how the solution uses static, historic, and real-time data to support predictive modelling, integrates with existing TfL platforms including the RTO system, Data Service Hub, and COV IMS, and supports both live incident management and scenario testing for future event planning. Attendees will gain insight into how predictive modelling can improve decision-making, reduce network disruption, and optimise traffic management operations.
Anyone interested or working in highways and transport.
