Rail and Integrated Transport

To be held at Queens Hotel, Leeds.

Key conference themes include 'Cycling and Rail', 'Rail Station Travel Plans' and 'Passengers and the Decision Making Process'.

Delegates will also be invited to attend one of four participatory workshops entitled:
 

• LSTF and what the outcomes will mean to integrated transport and rail
• Bidding for EU funding: the community rail experience
• Community rail and its role in station travel planning and transport,
• Making cycling infrastructure work for the user

Presentations and workshops will use case studies to enhance learning outcomes such as how to deliver low cost sustainable travel improvements around interchanges, developing an effective monitoring and evaluation strategy, how to capture the needs of users, increasing success in bidding for funding and how to make the journey experience easier.
