‘Recruiting and keeping female leaders – tips for applicants and recruiters’

Are you looking to recruit into your team and want to attract great people? Are you a woman looking for your next role, scanning job ads and deciding which to apply for? Either way, this session is for you.

For leaders and recruiters, this will give you insights and practical tools (even an app that takes minutes to use) to help you craft job ads and descriptions that will attract a balance of talent as well as food for thought on how you keep and develop talented people once they are through your door.

For women wanting to develop their careers, it will give you inside information on how job descriptions are really crafted and enable you to make more informed decisions about which jobs you should apply for. It will also give you insights into how one organisation is taking flexibility seriously in order to keep and develop the talent it has attracted.

Speakers:
Kieron O’Reilly – Diversity Consultant Sateo Consulting
Kieron has 15 years of UK and international recruitment experience, leading the development and operation of diverse talent sourcing programmes for both private and public organisations, from multinationals to SME’s in the financial, professional, construction and health sectors.
Ian Patey – Head of Profession, Mouchel
Ian has been a leader in Mouchel’s Intelligent Transport Systems business for over 15 years and is Vice Chair of ITS UK. He will share stories from his experience of the value of flexibility and trust in building balanced teams.
