For the first time, Traffex Road Expo Scotland, Bridges Scotland and a new event focusing on autonomous technology, CAV Scotland, will be co-located at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh on 31 October and 1 November.
Featuring many of the biggest manufacturers and suppliers from the Scottish transport industry as well as an extensive CPD certified conference programme, these events are free to attend and provide the perfect platform for cross-sector learning and debate.
The keynote presentation for Traffex Road Expo will be given by Gordon Mackay, Chair of SCOTS and head of roads and transportation services at South Lanarkshire Council, including updates from Transport Scotland officials on the Transport (Scotland) Bill.
What’s more, among the key figures at Bridges Scotland will be Hazel McDonald, chief bridges engineer at Transport Scotland, and there will also be a talk on the issue of bridge collapse, following from the tragedy in Genoa.
