The site visit will comprise a presentation on the main design aspects of the project, and a bus tour around the Project area.
The Project comprises the design and construction of 4 main junctions along 3.6 Km of Sabah Al Ahmad new corridor with 4 lanes in each direction. The Project includes the largest 4 levels interchange in Qatar having 9 flyover bridges with 11 km total length, one major left turn Bridge connecting the Project with Al Ittihad Street, one major tunnel and one major viaduct with two bridges along the new corridor and upgrading of 1.6 Km of Al Shamal Road. Construction of retaining walls, pedestrian bridges, pedestrian/cycle paths, traffic signal and gantry signs, utilities, landscaping works, street lighting and micro tunneling works are also part of the scope of works.

TIME: The visit will take place from 9:30am to 1pm.
Note that only limited spaces are available for the site visit. Preference will be given to CIHT members.
No entry will be allowed without PPE. Please be equipped with helmet, high visibility safety vest, safety glasses and boots.
