Involving the public and other stakeholders.... the latest in CIHT’s series of Streets and Transport in the Urban Environment events discussed how we can achieve the needs of all stakeholders in developing improvement schemes and improving the public realm. CIHT launched their latest guidelines, and during the seminar delegates heard from recent case studies with the aim of understanding the benefits of getting our approach right - the morning session was of value to professionals across the sector. The afternoon session was a facilitated discussion with the audience to develop what guidance the sector needs around the sometimes controversial issue of sharing space.
