Spring Seminar - Transport for the North Vision and Progress

Date: Thursday 30th March 2017
Time: 9.30am to 12.30pm (Registration from 9.00am)
Venue: University of Leeds, Lecture Theatre B, School of Civil Engineering, Leeds, LS2 9JT

Our Spring seminar this year will focus upon the future aspirations for transport in our region and across the North. Transport for the North [TfN] is developing a Transport Strategy for the North of England. Amy Harhoff, TfN’s Head of Policy & Strategy, set the scene for us at our previous evening presentation last September.

During this seminar we will look in more detail at what Transport for the North means for us. We will hear thoughts on this from TfN, Network Rail as one of their partners, and WYCA as a LEP Member. Come along to learn more, and discuss your thoughts on the shape of our future transport with other colleagues.

With presentations from speakers including:

  •     Steve Rowsell, President of CIHT
  •     Robin Miller-Stott, Senior Policy and Strategy Officer, Transport for the North
  •     John Constantine, Contracts & Procurement Manager LNE & EM Route, Network Rail
  •     Liz Hunter, Head of transport policy at West Yorkshire Combined Authority

Book your place now via Eventbrite - no later than Tuesday 29th March 2017.
