GoToWebinar: This webinar will give an overview of the St Patrick’s regeneration site in Ballymena. This is a joint webinar between CIHT Northern Ireland and Engineers Ireland NI.
The webinar will give an overview of the St Patrick’s regeneration site in Ballymena. The Department for Communities has been working over a number of years in association with a range of delivery partners to develop projects which will transform the former military site, bringing economic and social benefits to the wider Ballymena area. It is estimated the total investment at the site over the coming years will exceed £160million.
This session will focus on the environmental considerations and social benefits being realised through the current construction of the link road, delivered by Department for Infrastructure, their consultant partners Amey and their Principal Contractor, FP McCann.
This vital link road is key to unlocking the development potential of the St Patrick’s site and is one of the first contracts in Northern Ireland to employ the Points Based Social Value model.
This is open both to members from CIHT and Engineers Ireland, as well as non-members.
