CIHT SW are hosting a Streets DEMOnstration workshop in Exeter.
The event will consider the street design of an area of Exeter, examining the users, any conflicts and the quality of street design through a site-based walkaround. The event will then convene for a design workshop where proposals for street design improvements, interventions and best practice will be discussed and proposed.
The event is intended as a thought provoking, constructive design activity with the ultimate aim of improving the street design and operation for all. Although this is intended as an academic exercise, key stakeholders will be invited to the event with the intention that any resulting proposals are made available for future reference and consultation.
