As we edge closer to 2030 and the impending ban of Internal Combustion Engine vehicles there is a need to take stock of what is being done to help this transition. What is being done across London? What are local authorities doing? What is the Private sector doing? And how does where you live impact your chances of getting a charge?

Dan has been working in the EV space for over 6 years, playing a critical role in the inception, delivery and expansion of H&F’s on-street electric vehicle charging network.
His experience spans the variation of the Pan London Source London agreement, management of OZEV funded Go Ultra Low and On Street Residential Charge Point Scheme projects and more recently developing funding models to support the continue expansion of EVCP in H&F.
During this session he will be sharing his knowledge and practical experience in establishing, delivering and managing On Street charging networks from a local authority officer point of view.
Roisin works in the City Planning department of Transport for London (TfL), with a primary role to implement the Mayor of London’s Transport Strategy (MTS); providing strategic direction to improve the Capital’s transport offer, enable its future growth and secure better health and environmental outcomes.
Working with key stakeholders to shape London’s future, Roisin has previously facilitated the portfolio of Innovate UK and European funded research and innovation projects at TfL which aims to gain insight and further understanding of some of these barriers to enable the widespread switch to electric vehicles and development of infrastructure. Roisin has recently helped to develop London’s 2030 EV Infrastructure Strategy for London to enable the widespread switch to electric vehicles and delivery of infrastructure in line with MTS policy and highlighting the role the public sector can play in supporting this switch.
Passionate about the Energy Transition, Mike has spent the last 12 years across the Energy Industry including 9 years at Shell and 3 years with Deloitte. At Shell, Mike worked across Downstream, Integrated Gas and New Energies, culminating as Shell’s Integration Director for their acquisition of New Motion and First Utility; at Deloitte, Mike spent time in Post Merger Integration and leading Start-up / Scale-up engagements for Energy Transition companies. Mike holds a MEng from Oxford University, is CGMA accredited, and serves as a non-exec Director of Giki Social Enterprise and to the Board of Advisors of BuffaloGrid.
Shaherah's research topic is ‘Electric Vehicle Adoption in London through the Cultural Aspects of the Built Environment, Policy and the Personal Domain’. Shaherah will talk about some of the insights from her research, in particular, the social implications of the the connection between the built environment and electric vehicle adoption.
Shaherah Jordan is a transport communications professional with 10 years’ experience in her field. She has been a member of the CIHT since 2018.
