In this context Henry Williams & Sons and ASI Solutions are running a joint webinar to explain how innovative Asphalt Preservation Technology has developed over this period and how this sustainable low carbon road surface maintenance technique is now playing an integral part in Life Cycle Planning. The webinar will cover the technology; operational issues; case studies; environmental benefits and application.
This webinar is open to all but is particularly aimed at Highway Engineers,Asset Managers,Service Delivery Managers,Highway Directors,Road Maintenance Managers, Principal Engineers and Technicians.
Dr Howard Robinson, Managing Director, ASI Solutions Ltd
Dr Howard Robinson is the Managing Director of ASI Solutions and previously the Chief Executive of The Road Surface Treatments Association from 2009-2018. He is a recognized industry expert on road materials and is a past Chair of the British Standards Committee for Road Surface Treatments. He is a Chartered Chemist and Chartered Scientist and a Visiting Professor at Liverpool John Moores University.
Stephen Williams , Chairman, Henry Williams & Son Ltd
Stephen first joined Henry Williams & Son (Roads) Limited in the late 1980’s when he was employed as a summer seasonal worker labouring in surface dressing gangs.
Over the following 30 years Stephen gained valuable experience overseeing the company’s civil engineering and infrastructure division - constructing car parks and access roads for local NHS Trusts and commercial clients, carrying out asphalt machine lay operations as well as developing the company’s quality, environmental and health & safety management systems.
When a fifth-generation family member joined the company in 2010, Stephen was able to move across to manage the company’s specialist treatments division – which includes surface dressing, Retread shallow depth recycling, target surface dressing, slurry sealing and, most recently, asphalt preservation.
