The Tame Valley Viaduct is a key section of the highway network, carrying 620 metres of the Aston Expressway between Birmingham and the M6. With seven lanes and 21 spans, it carries around 90,000 vehicles per day; the viaduct is crucial for the national network and Birmingham.
